Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, is seeking an Automotive Embedded Software Engineer to join their team. As an Automotive Embedded Software Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting various automotive systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Auburn Hills, Michigan (Onsite)
Pay Range:$34-37/hr
What's the Job?- Develop and implement embedded software for automotive systems, including Instrument Panel Clusters (IPC), Heads Up Display (HUD), and propulsion systems.
- Participate in the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and maintenance.
- Utilize modelling tools such as MATLAB/Simulink/State flow/RTW to create and validate system models.
- Work with communication protocols like CAN, SPI, I2C, LIN, ARINC, TCP/AVB for Ethernet Broadcom, and data monitoring tools such as Vehicle Spy, CANalyzer, Canoe.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of automotive embedded systems.
- Proficiency in Embedded C programming, C++, and Python.
- Experience with modelling tools like MATLAB/Simulink/State flow/RTW.
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, I2C, LIN, ARINC, TCP/AVB.
- Hands-on experience with automotive systems including Instrument Panel Clusters, HUD, propulsion systems, BCM, and ECM.
- Ability to work onsite in Auburn Hills, Michigan, with immediate availability preferred.
