Accent Controls, Inc. is seeking full-time Warehouse Specialists (Warehouse Workers) in the Storage/Inventory

As directed, performs a variety of warehousing duties which require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan. Work involves most of the following:
Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages; routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods; rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage; removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment. May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.

• Understanding large-scale organization systems
• Knowing inventory control systems
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Meeting physical requirements, such as lifting, bending and standing for long periods
• Knowing Microsoft Office programs, such as Word and Excel

• Ability to operate a variety of tools
• Experience using warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and handcarts
• Knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines and practices

• Counting and inventory accuracy
• Performs other related duties as required.
• Practices physical security and is committed to safety practices.

Works on concrete floors and in drafty areas. May be exposed to fumes, fluids, dirt, battery acids, etc., resulting in bruises, cuts, burns, and skin irritation. Wearing of protective wear and other safety equipment is required during all periods of exposure to hazardous conditions. Hand trucks, dollies, and other workers are available for assistance with heavier items.

• Including, but not limited to, standing, squatting, lifting (up to 50 pounds); carrying, walking; pushing and pulling
• Including, but not limited to, sitting and driving a forklift
• Including, but not limited to, problem-solving, decision-making, data interpretation, organization; reading and writing

• HS Diploma or GED. May substitute one year of relevant experience for one year of education.
