Robert Half is partnering with a rapidly growing company in Opelika to identify a Staff Accountant to join an outstanding team and culture. This is an excellent opportunity for an early to mid career accounting professional seeking broad exposure across multiple areas of accounting and finance while working in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Responsibilities
+ Assist with cash management activities and daily cash reporting
+ Process and maintain accounts payable transactions
+ Record and reconcile intercompany transactions
+ Prepare and file sales and use tax returns
+ Participate in month end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
+ Support accounts receivable processes as needed
+ Handle occasional administrative responsibilities and special projects

Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required
+ Recent accounting graduates are encouraged to apply; prior accounting experience is preferred
+ Net Suite experience is a plus but not required
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
+ Positive attitude and desire to learn and grow within a dynamic company
