FFS Assett Management Accountant - Global Industrial

Position: FFS Support Assett Management Accountant - Global Industrial
SUMMARY:

This role records asset additions and disposals in the asset management subledger,closes the subledger monthly, and prepares account reconciliations and reporting for various depreciable asset accounts. Responsibilities include supporting accountdetails and assisting department and field personnel with issues and questions.

JOB DUTIES
• Assists in ensuring general ledger accounts are maintained in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Prepares balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring appropriate and timely resolution of reconciling items.
• Evaluates trends, identifies and investigates unusual or unexpected account variances and communicates results to department. Makes recommendations to resolve issues andmakes corrections.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Typically requires a bachelor's degree in accounting and zero (0) to two (2) years of related experience. Master's degree in business, accounting or finance preferred.

• Strong attention to organization, detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and projects. Excellent communication and presentation skills to all levelsof employees.
• Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and produce accurate work undertime constraints.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel. Ability to learn various software packages and process workflows. Solid knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures as relates to general ledger and GAAP accounting. People Soft and Blackline experience preferred.
• Ability to build effective relationships and interact with a variety of people and departments.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Requires normal physical stamina while working in pleasant office surroundings.

LICENSES &

CERTIFICATIONS:

CPA eligible preferred.
