Overview
Auburn Advancement is excited to begin the search for a Student Employee for the Front Desk at the Alumni Center! This position is vital in building lasting relationships and securing the resources needed to support Auburn Advancement and Auburn University’s philanthropic mission.
Responsibilities- Greet and assist visitors, students, faculty, and staff in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and general inquiries
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming front desk environment
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and event reservations
- Support office operations by filing documents, organizing records, and maintaining supplies
- Assist with data entry, spreadsheet updates, and basic administrative tasks
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of reception and common areas
- Distribute mail, packages, and office materials as needed
- Assist with event preparation, check‑in, and guest support when necessary
- Operate standard office equipment including printers, copiers, and scanners
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and records
- Perform additional office and administrative duties as assigned
