Undergraduate Student Assistant
The Department of Aerospace Engineering is currently accepting applications for an undergraduate student assistant who is motivated, hard-working and detail-oriented to perform a variety of front office administrative tasks and event support duties.
ResponsibilitiesThis administrative position will support the Aerospace Engineering Department by:
- Greeting and providing general information to guests
- Performing a variety of routine clerical and administrative tasks
- Organizing front office and maintaining cleanliness of lobby area
- Assisting department with event setup and tear downs
- Assisting faculty, staff and graduate students with office equipment
Enrolled undergraduate student at Auburn University (not seeking a degree in engineering)
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Must be available to work the summer semester.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Excellent oral and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of team
- Flexible schedule to accommodate event support
- Work an average of 15-20 hours per week
- Experience working in an office setting
- Available to work Monday
- Friday during office hours (7:45-4:45am) during school year and during summer - Commit to work at least 2 full semesters and available 15-20 hours per week
