Seasonal Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Auburn

Overview

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as Seasonal Automotive Detailers. This position pays $15 per hour and is located at 806 Opelika Road, Auburn, AL 36830.

This is a seasonal position and cannot exceed 180 days of service. The season starts July 1, 2026 and ends on or before December 1, 2026.

A minimum of 5 days per week (Full Time‑40 hours) or a minimum of 3 days per week (Part Time‑25 hours) is required. Weekends are required.

We are dedicated to upholding the highest cleanliness standards in the industry. As an Auto Detailer and Car Washer, you will lead our commitment to exceptional cleaning practices.

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle’s exterior – this may include cars of different sizes, as well as vans and trucks
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found; verify registration is present, current and matches the license plate
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage; pull vehicle out of the prep processing as necessary
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from the branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations
  • Desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot and other miscellaneous tasks related to the daily cleanliness of the branch location

• Seek to improve job performance through self‑assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations and/or at‑fault accidents on driving record in the past three years
  • Candidates with more than one excessive speeding violation (defined as 26 or more miles per hour over the posted speed limit) on their driving record within the last 3 years will be disqualified from consideration
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past five years
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• Must be living within a reasonable commute of no more than 30 minutes from this location
• Seasonal employees may work up to 180 days during a defined season. They must experience a 3‑month break in service at the end of the season prior to working again as a seasonal or regular employee
