Job Type: Full-time, Non-exempt
Job Responsibilities:- Oversee and coordinate traffic control operations on job sites
- Train and supervise crew members in traffic control procedures and safety protocols
- Conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Perform site assessments and ensure proper placement of traffic control devices
- Coordinate with local authorities and project managers to ensure project specifications are met
- Ensure that all equipment and materials are available for the crew
- Inspect work zones to ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols
- Provide feedback to crew members and address any performance issues
- Previous experience in traffic control or similar role required (preferred)
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Knowledge of traffic control procedures and regulations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Regular exposure to varied outdoor weather conditions and moving traffic
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
- May require working nights and weekends
- Must be available for overtime and occasional overnight travel
