Tiello has partnered with a highly successful Commercial Masonry Contractor in Birmingham and Huntsville, AL area on their search for skilled Laborers to join their growing team.

The Laborer will assist masons and the field team by preparing materials, maintaining clean and safe job sites, and ensuring crews have the resources needed to complete projects efficiently.

• Assist masons with material handling, staging, and job site preparation
• Load, unload, and transport brick, block, mortar, scaffolding, and other construction materials
• Mix mortar and grout as directed by the masonry crew
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment throughout the day
• Build, move, and dismantle scaffolding and other temporary structures as needed
• Operate hand tools and basic construction equipment safely
• Remove debris and keep the job site organized and free of hazards
• Support the masonry crew in meeting daily production goals and project schedules
• Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety policies
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned by the Foreman or Superintendent

• Previous construction or commercial masonry experience preferred
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting 50+ pounds regularly
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn the masonry trade
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable transportation to job sites
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
