Special Event Intern
Auburn Athletics is excited to begin the search for a Special Event Intern! Interns with the Auburn Athletics Special Event Crew assist with the planning and execution of special events, as well as any administrative duties necessary.
Responsibilities• Assist with the planning and execution of special events.
• Learn and become familiar with all Auburn Athletics venues.
• Form relationships with vendors and clients.
• Assist in daily administrative duties such as filing, copying, and printing.
• Assist in the guidance of setup and breakdown for special events.
• Assist Event Coordinator.
Enrolled student at Auburn University
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities• Ability to work in variable weather conditions with loud crowd noise
• Ability to work both weekdays and weekends, 10-20 hours a week
• Ability to work during all Auburn Athletics home games
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
• Working knowledge of the following Microsoft Office programs:
Word, Excel PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as basic audio-visual knowledge
• Ability to independently interpret and follow any verbal or written instruction, including floorplan and event details, with minimal supervision.
