Overview
The Office of Communications and Marketing at Auburn University is excited to begin the search for a Student Video Producer ! The ideal candidate will be a creative and innovativevideostoryteller with an eye for visual detail. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the production of promotional/news stories andvideos in support of the university’s brand and mission. This is a 10-15 hour per week paidpositionand can serve as a for-creditinternship if needed.
Responsibilities- Creatively shoot and edit content to tell compelling stories.
- Assist onvideoshoots through equipment setup and b-roll shooting.
- Work with OCM videoproducers to advance promotion of the university throughvideoon multiple platforms.
- Work with OCMsocial media team to create engaging content for broad audiences.
- Organize and distribute requested media clips to campus partners.
Enrolled student at Auburn University
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Must be able to work 10-15 hours per week.
- Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
- Must be able to shoot and edit video.
- Must be able to produce content within given deadlines.
- Proficient using Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects is a plus). Eye for detail.
- Good time-management skills.
