Customer Service Rep, Event Manager / Planner
The Details
Pay: $15.00/hr
Part‑Time/Seasonal – non‑driving position
Events: football games, Christmas Parade, Mardi Gras Parade, etc.

Event Staff members are front‑line personnel responsible for greeting, engaging, and interacting with all customers attending Downtown Burton Street events.
PrincipalJob Duties
- Meet and greet each customer with courtesy and great customer service.
- Understand surroundings and event details to answer questions.
- Accurately distribute tickets (proof of purchase) to each customer.
- Expedite traffic flow in a timely fashion.
- Adhere to dress code and be able to work outside in any weather conditions (rain, snow, wind, heat, etc.) and continuously stand for extended periods of time (3‑6 hours).
- Follow all safety standards.
- Communicate with management, supervisors, and traffic directors.
- Answer customer service questions concerning parking and provide general customer inquiries in a courteous, professional, and effective manner; refer questions to supervisor when applicable.
- Take direction from Managers, Supervisors, and emergency responders during emergencies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- 1+ years in a customer service role.
- Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience working in outdoor/ extreme weather conditions preferred.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
- Must be able to work unsupervised.
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
- Must be able to work standing up/on feet for extended periods of time.
- Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 15 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
