Physician - Neonatologist

We are seeking an experienced Neonatologist for a 60‑day locum tenens assignment in Alabama starting Jan 5, 2026. The position involves approximately 10 shifts per month, each consisting of 24‑hour rounding plus call. Candidates must be board certified in Neonatology with recent clinical experience and hold or be eligible for an AL license or IMLC.

• Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a hospital setting
• Perform 24‑hour rounds and be available for call coverage during assigned shifts
• Manage a range of complex neonatal cases in accordance with current best practices
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Complete and maintain accurate documentation as required by the facility
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures related to neonatal care

• Board Certification in Neonatology required
• Minimum of 1‑year post‑fellowship clinical experience required
• Must have recent Neonatologist experience within the past 12 months
• At least 6 months of clinical experience within Neonatology required
• AL license or IMLC eligibility required
• Must complete prescreen questionnaire and submit a CV in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained
