ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Transporting food waste from main campus to the Miller Center using a university owned pick-up truck with hydraulic lift gate
- Transporting finished compost product back to main campus or other designated areas
- Weighing and loading food waste and carbon sources into the FOR Solutions composting system
- Monitoring the internal temperature of the FOR Solutions composting system
- Collecting and submitting compost samples to designated laboratories
- Maintaining a clean working environment
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as an Auburn University student.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass an MVR.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Must be able to work at least 12 hours a week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to push/pull containers weighing up to 250lbs.
Pay Rate: $12.00 - $15.00/hour
