Job Summary
Join the Gift Planning Office as a Student Assistant! The Gift Planning Office is part of the Auburn University Foundation, which receives all charitable contributions made in support of and to benefit Auburn University and AUM. This position is best suited for individuals interested in estate planning, finance, communications, and fundraising. The department also benefits greatly from those studying history, data management, and hospitality.
We prefer candidates who can commit for multiple semesters, seeking a resume‑building experience, and who understand that non‑profits still mean business. Office hours are 7:45 am to 4:45 pm, daily, excluding most university holidays. Please share your summer 2026 availability in your cover letter; special consideration will be given. EssentialFunctions
- Stewardship; maintain records; generate reports on data; make appointments for travel; assist office staff with administrative responsibilities.

- Enrolled student at Auburn University.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office/Adobe. Flexibility to work at least 1 hour per business day. Ability to take direction, incorporate feedback, and think analytically. May test these skills by interview.
Pay Rate: $10.00/hour; starting pay, raises contingent on experience, performance and accountability.
Work Hours:
10–20 hours per week; hours contingent on performance, accountability, and flexibility of schedule. City position is located in Auburn, AL. State position is located in AL.
