The Department of Fine Arts at Auburn University at Montgomery is seeking a Piano Accompanist.
Under the direction of the music leader, the successful candidate will accompany University choirs during rehearsals and concerts and assist the music leader in the direction of sectional rehearsals and concerts. In addition, the piano accompanist will help coach individuals and small ensembles. A successful candidate must have the ability to assist section rehearsals by playing various parts, identifying student mistakes and problem areas, correcting mistakes and providing the right notes and rhythms.
The accompanist will perform other related work as required and must be available for rehearsals from Tuesday - Thursday in the late afternoon and early evening.
Successful candidate will have:
* Advanced Piano Skills
* Basic Music Theory
* Basic Voice Technique
