The position performs specialized technical and paraprofessional responsibilities that ensure timely access to instructional and research materials, preservation of unique collections, accurate cataloging and circulation records, inventory control, operational reporting, and coordination with university library systems and CADC faculty.

The role also supports accreditation, assessment, and student retention efforts by maintaining reliable daily operations, troubleshooting access and technology issues, supporting course reserves and thesis processing, and ensuring that students in studio‑based programs have consistent access to library spaces, equipment, and resources necessary for academic success. This position is essential to maintaining continuity of operations and sustaining the level of research and instructional support required by the college.

  • Supports daily operations of the Library of Architecture, Design, and Construction (LADC) by performing opening procedures, assisting circulation desk staff and student workers, troubleshooting technical and facilities issues, managing access to library and gallery spaces, monitoring equipment and workstations, and ensuring operational readiness.
