Manufacturing and Technology Instructor "Jefferson Campus

Salary Based on education and experience commensurate with Alabama Community College System Salary Schedule D1 ($42,108.00-$94,363.00). This is a nine-month position. Summer employment may be available (an additional $13,001-$29,084) dependent upon enrollment.

Responsibilities:

• Instruction in the appropriate teaching environment(s) and evaluating student learning.
• Class and laboratory preparation.
• Participate in curriculum development and evaluation. Recommend new or revised curriculum.
• Provide academic advising to students.
• Perform department/program responsibilities.
• Interact regularly with business and industry to stay current with changing needs and promote positive and productive relationships.
• Perform institutional responsibilities which contribute to the fulfillment of the College’s mission.
• Follow institutional policies and procedures and fulfills the terms of one’s employment.
• Serve on College Committees assigned.
• Fulfill other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the President, Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean of Instruction.

Education: Associate degree or equivalent in Manufacturing, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Electronics, or related field, required. Bachelor’s degree in the same fields, preferred.

Experience: Minimum of three years of related work experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, required.

Licenses: None required.
