Auburn ISE combines the resources of an R1 land-grant university with a collegial college town, strong schools, and an expanding research park.

Our department also fosters hands‑on learning opportunities, providing access to teaching laboratories, including the Tiger Motors Lab, which simulates a real manufacturing environment, and the College of Engineering’s Design and Innovation Center, an 11,000-square‑foot makerspace.
