The Department of Business Analytics & Information Systems (BASY) in the Harbert College of Business at Auburn University seeks applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track, non-tenure eligible full-time teaching faculty position as a Lecturer or Professor of Practice. This is an annual appointment with the renewal contingent upon the availability of funds, the need for services, and satisfactory performance. The effective date of employment will be August 2027.
About the Department & Programs: The Department of Business Analytics and Information Systems at the Harbert College of Business is home to the nationally ranked undergraduate program in Business Analytics and a thriving undergraduate, master's, and PhD program in Information Systems. The department also offers graduate certificates in Information Systems, Cyber Security Management, and Business Analytics. The faculty supporting these two programs consists of 15 tenure track faculty, five lecturers, two professors of practice, and one person dedicated to the professional development of business analytics and management information systems students.
Our faculty have various research interests and publish in top-tier journals, such as Information Systems Research, Journal of Management Information Systems, Production and Operations Management, Manufacturing and Service Operations Management and European Journal of Information Systems.
