Overview
This position will be located in Bentonville/Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The RFID Lab at Auburn University is looking for a motivated, hard-working, and detail-oriented employee from various disciplines to perform RFID in-store testing and audits. This position will primarily involve fieldwork at partner locations. Fieldwork includes activities such as RFID tag audits, barcode audits, RFID cycle counts.
Responsibilities- Perform data collection tests to investigate the performance of large-scale RFID deployments.
- RFID tagging items in a retail environment and then doing tests with an RFID reader to determine the quality and readability of the tags.
- Perform in-store barcode/inventory audits.
- May occasionally participate in in-lab demonstrations and testing.
- Occasionally travel to partner locations outside of the Bentonville/Fayetteville area.
High school diploma or equivalent.
