Facilities Mechanical Engineer

Providemechanicalengineering solutions for projects and problem resolution or enhancements for allmechanicalbuilding systems at the Chrysler Technology Center.

The Facilities Mechanical Engineer  is responsible for:

• Assessing maintenance records and themechanicalcondition of various mechanical/utility systems and equipment.
• Design and installation ofmechanicalsystems including schematic design.
• Assist the consulting engineers in the creation of construction documents.
• Create long term capital improvement plans based on assessment results and develop work packages for buildingmechanical/utility systems.
• Provide technical direction for buildingmechanical/utility systems and provide studies and analysis formechanical/utility building systems.
• Provide technical guidance to manufacturing facilities for energy efficiency, conservation, and optimization.
• Develop schedules and manage workloads for new programs requiringmechanical/utility building modifications.
• Improve building trade work force efficiency, cost effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
• Review and enhance preventive maintenance procedures onmechanicalsystem assets.

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Familiarity with preventive and proactive maintenance concepts.

• Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Stellantis Industrial Systems (SIS) experience is a plus.
• 5 years of experience in facilities management or Mechanical system design and/or maintenance.
• Prior skilled trade supervisory experience.
