The MEP Specialist will operate in an on-site, full-time position based in Auburn, AL. The role involves overseeing and coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems to ensure quality, safety, and compliance. Key responsibilities include maintaining and operating UPS systems, generators, and power distribution to ensure continuous uptime. Oversee HVAC (cooling) and environmental systems for proper thermal management. Monitor facility systems and respond to alarms or failures.
Qualifications- Knowledge and experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, and MEP coordination
- Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and technologies
- Experience in plumbing design and general plumbing systems
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with construction industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
- Professional certification in MEP or related disciplines is a plus
