Convergence Leaders are exposed to parts and processes throughout the vehicle assembly. As a Convergence Leader, you will utilize your skills to bring together a cross functional team of Stellantis and supplier personnel to identify Program readiness opportunities for new/future programs and problem resolution opportunities for day to day assembly operations.
TheSupplier Quality Engineer/Convergence Leader’s job responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Work cross functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to ensure incoming part quality from the supply base is fluid
- Drive change within both Plant Manufacturing and Component Suppliers to resolve component related issues
- Ensure component supplier processes are robust and capable while enforcing clean points and permanent corrective actions
- Support warranty reduction initiatives through Obeya and Supplier Obeya initiatives
- Develop and present status updates and articulate open issues to senior leadership
- Drive supplier commitment and challenge action plans associated to quality for supplier manufacturing related issues
- Drive containment, root cause, and permanent corrective actions for Supplier Quality Pilot issues identified during a launching program
- Bachelor of Science or master's degree in engineering from an accredited university
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
- Proficient in data analysis and data management using Microsoft Office Suite Software
- Strong interest in automotive industry.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
- Previous Internship/Co-Op experience and/or previous manufacturing, design, or engineering work experience
- Creative problem-solving ability and a results orientation
- Comfortable with complex technical analysis
- Respected team leader or team member
- Ability to travel within the NA region
