Mechanical Designer

Job Summary Our client, a leading manufacturing company near Auburn, Alabama needs to hire a mechanical designer! If you have CAD design expertise, ideally with PTC Creo AND experience using Windchill to transform design concepts into high-precision 3D models and production-ready drawings. Associates Responsibilities

• Develop and modify complex 3D solid models and 2D mechanical drawings for products and components.
• Transform sketches, design concepts, and verbal instructions into detailed engineering specifications.
• Create and manage comprehensive documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical data packages.
• Responsible for creation and documentation of 3D CAD models and related drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs) and other engineering documentation
• Coordinate drawing documentation in preparation for formal production releases

• Associate degree (Ideally in drafting & design)
• 4+ years of relevant design experience
• Experience creating 2D or 3D mechanical models
• 3D CAD experience (PTC CREO, Solidworks or related software)
• Experience with PLM software (Windchill preferred)
