Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is looking for Flight line Mechanic A220 to join our team based in Mobile, AL.
The Flight line Mechanic is responsible for performing Functional Test Procedure (FTP), Pre & Post Flight inspection to prepare built aircraft for test flight and delivery readiness. This includes:
- Operating, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and inspecting aircraft systems using approved aircraft data
- Proficiently operating and understanding a wide variety of test equipment and tooling
- Interpreting technical manuals, drawings, and engineering data to support tasks
- Completing assigned tasks within the allocated man-hour budget while meeting safety regulations, quality guidelines, and cost constraints

Your Working EnvironmentNearby on ‘Airbus Way’ you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. Your Challenges- Perform aircraft system Final Test Procedure Test (FTP) / Pre/Post flight checklist/ Daily Inspection (DI) to prepare built aircraft for test flight readiness
- Learn new tasks and techniques to troubleshoot aircraft systems and support Flight line operation at Airbus FAL Mobile Flight line Organization
- Troubleshoot malfunctions, rig, repair, replace aircraft structures, components, and systems of moderate difficulty
- Maintain and rework aircraft components including but not limited to landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, ventilation, heating and cooling systems, and mechanical/Cabin interior components
- Service, repair, and prepare documentation according to company procedures and specifications
- Perform Post dock maintenance daily checklist/ Safety and security /Incoming inspection
- Perform planned and unplanned aircraft maintenance
- Participate in the development and improvement of troubleshooting skills
