Overview
The Office of The Vice President for Research and Economic Development, External Engagement & Support Office is looking for Student
Assistants to help with various tasks as needed. Hours can vary according to class schedules, with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
Assist the Event Director with the following duties:
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, decor, and audio/visual equipment.
- Assist clients with pre-event planning, coordination of event setup, as well as audio-visual technical assistant.
- May perform duties alone or collaboratively with supervisors and/or event operations staff.
- Monitor event inventory of equipment, supplies, and furniture etc.
- Monitor event space to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Currently enrolled as an Auburn University undergraduate student.
- Must maintain a neat appearance.
- Must be a team player and willing to help where needed with any project that comes up.
- Must be able to lift and move banquet tables and chairs as needed.
- Job requires walking, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
