Head Teller, Assistant Branch Manager or Branch Manager

SUPERVISES:
No Supervisory Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY

Provide customers with exceptional service and is responsible for the accurate and safe handling of various transactions such as cashing checks, depositing money and accepting loan payments. Follows basic cash operating procedures which entail counting and documenting cash that is given or received via customer or vault transactions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Count and document cash received

* Ensure proper balancing of cash drawer and accuracy of transactions; secure cash drawer at all times

* Accept deposits and withdrawals on checking and savings accounts

* Accept payments on loans and safe deposit boxes

* Verifies customers' identities

* Assist customers with discrepancies on their accounts;
Prepare proper documentation for discrepancies or refer to Branch Specialist

* Issue official checks and money orders

* Assist with balancing of vault

* Other duties as assigned

This position is considered non-exempt and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
