Grants Management Coordinator; Mobile

General Information

This position involves technical work coordinating and monitoring affordable housing grants and other governmental, public and private grant programs to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines for the employing jurisdiction. The starting salary for the jurisdiction in Mobile County is $61,561.

Coordinate and monitor affordable housing grant programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, oversee grant administration, and manage program performance.

• Attainment of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration or a closely related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum of three years experience in affordable housing grants management administration.
• Ability to meet established medical and physical standards for the class of work, including a medical examination by a designated physician; applicant is responsible for the cost.
