In this role, you will assist in delivering high-quality outpatient care by implementing treatment plans, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, and documenting progress toward functional goals. You’ll work alongside experienced clinicians in a supportive environment focused on mentorship, professional development, and patient-centered outcomes.

- Assisting in evaluating clients’ daily living skills and capacities to determine the extent of abilities and limitations.
- Assisting patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment, including exercise instruction, manual therapy techniques, and activities of daily living.
- Observing patients during treatments and reporting observations to the Physical Therapist.
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program required.
- Unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant Licensure to practice in Alabama.
- CPR and first aid certification required.
