The Aftermarket Custom Shop Senior Buyer willbe responsibleformanagingsourcings, contract execution and supplier performanceforall
North America Custom Shops(Windsorin Canada,Sterling Heights, Warrenand Toledoin the US,Saltilloand Tolucain Mexico).
The Aftermarket Custom Shop Senior Buyer will interact with various stakeholders at Stellantis (Engineering, Program Team, Supplier Quality, Supplier Risk Management, Purchasing Finance, Accounting, Cost Engineers, Custom Shop Operations) in order to coordinate the various actions to manage Request for Quotations, Contract Execution and Maintenance.
Functional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and manage RFQ (request for quotation) activity byleveragingthesuppliers’bid list and aligning to strategic objectives
- Perform supplier negotiations to drive best in class results
- Make supplier Recommendation (REC) during Sourcing Table decision meetings
- Generate the Purchase Agreement (contract) in line with the supplierselectionmade (REC)
- Identify potential new suppliers
- Prepare, manage, executepotentialresourcing activities (including cross functional collaboration)
- Support campaigns / recalls as needed to ensure appropriate purchasingaction
- Manage and negotiatepurchasingperformance through execution of contractual requirements (e.g., productivity) and negotiating/monitoringthewhole setof available leverageslike commercial performance (including commercial claims),and Monozokuri, Value Optimization (VO)
- Manage reporting requirements (eg: Performance roadmap, Resource Activity, etc.)
- Coordinate with Aftermarket marketing/planning to enhance profitability, Aftermarketqualityand custom shops operations to ensure flawless builds, as well as with engineering, supply chainmanagementand finance to support business operations
- Work with suppliers, accessories buyers,supplychainand custom shops operations to ensure prompt resolution to supply issues, including
Vehicle’soff road (VOR’s) and Backorders, ensuring suppliers provide parts as required and Custom Shops honorsbuild schedule - Manage assigned suppliers, including but not limitedtotimelyresolution of issues, ensure supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery, etc.), and escalation as needed
- Manage the administrative work attached to these activities (Purchase orders,amendments,etc)

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management,Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics,orclosely related field
- 8 + years ofpurchasingexperience or closely related field
- Strongcommunicationskillsandhighlycustomerfocused
- Strongfluencywith Microsoft Office Suite
- Well organized, self-motivated, and resourceful managing complex situations
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and can effectivelyinterface withcross-functional teams and all levels of senior management
- Excellent analytical and presentation skills
- ExperiencewithSAP
- Experience in the automotive industry
- Experience working in a global environment
