- Execute and ensure performance of the IFPC Program
- Manage Phase 2 program scope for design maturation and demonstration
- Lead competitive capture of follow-on production phases
- Manage employees and mid-level managers performing program management business activities
- Develop and execute integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures
- Guide development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives
- Acquire resources for organizational activities
- Provide technical management of suppliers
- Lead process improvements
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manage, develop and motivate employees and mid-level managers
- Work 100% onsite at the Huntsville, Alabama site
- Work first shift; some travel may be required up to 10% of the time
- 10+ years of experience in a role requiring project / program management skills to ensure cost, schedule and technical baseline requirements are met
- 5+ years of experience on a Department of Defense weapon program
- 5+ years of experience in a management role working with both direct reports and business unit leaders
- 5+ years of experience with RIO (Risks, Issues and Opportunities) processes and tools
- 5+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance required
- U.S. Citizenship required
- U.S. export control compliance requires a "U.S. Person"
- Must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest assessment process
- Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
- Bachelor's or higher in Engineering (preferred)
- Weapon system development and competitive capture (preferred)
- Interceptor development and fielding (preferred)
- Experience working in a cross functional environment (preferred)
- Experience developing and delivering presentations to Senior Leaders (preferred)
- Experience leading agile development teams (preferred)
- Experience writing proposals, RFIs and/or RFPs (preferred)
Demonstrates extensive experience in program management, particularly within Department of Defense weapon programs, with a strong focus on Earned Value Management and RIO processes. Proven ability to lead teams, develop strategies, and manage resources effectively while ensuring compliance with U.S. export control regulations.
