The Manufacturing Cost & Process Analyst role analyzes for manufactured components and systems using a structured, activity-based approach. This role works directly with bills of materials, process flows, tooling concepts, capacity data, and physical or digital samples to understand how parts are produced and to estimate associated material, labor, overhead, and capital costs.
In this position, you will use established manufacturing and industrial engineering methods to analyze costs, provide guidance to internal stakeholders, and support cost optimization and convergence activities. You will collaborate with global manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, finance, and supplier teams to ensure competitive, transparent, and sustainable manufacturing cost structures from early concept through serial production.

Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, cost engineering, or related industries
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills to support cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple parts, processes, or programs with varying levels of complexity
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Ability to work effectively across multiple levels of the organization, functions, and global regions
- Familiarity with manufacturing process modeling and activity-based costing methodologies;
Experience in one or more of the following areas: manufacturing engineering, process planning, tooling development, or operations - Knowledge of high-volume automotive or industrial manufacturing environments
- Experience supporting supplier cost analysis or production sourcing decisions
- Exposure to lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or value engineering principles
