Systems Engineer, Operations Manager
Position Overview
Senior Subject Matter Expert – Huntsville, AL (On‑site at Redstone Arsenal Army Base).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Serve as the United States Marine Corps (USMC) point of contact and liaison to related PAE Fires Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and working groups.
- Work closely with the Program Managers for Short and Intermediate Effectors for Layered Defense (SHIELD), Tactical Air and Ground Munitions (TAGM) and Counter‑Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C‑UAS) efforts to ensure close coordination.
- Act as the local USMC point of contact within the SHIELD, TAGM, and C‑UAS IPTs and working groups, providing awareness and recommendations to various Army IPTs and working groups and PM GBAD regarding progress and demonstrated capabilities.
- Provide technical and programmatic support in areas such as program management analysis, planning, liaison and operations support, strategic communications, engineering, test and evaluation, software management, and system safety liaison support.
- Participate in working groups.
- Execute persistent surveillance of the Air Defense and C‑UAS ecosystem to identify opportunities that can be exploited in support of the warfighter.
- Master’s degree (or applicable work experience).
- At least seven years’ experience working with the USMC.
- Knowledge and understanding of Marine Corps Air Defense environment.
- Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite—including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and MS Project.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with C‑UAS capability integration.
- Must hold an Active SECRET security clearance.

Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position will not have supervisory responsibilities.
DOT Covered/Safety‑Sensitive Role RequirementsThis position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation "safety‑sensitive" functions.

Additional Qualifying Factors- Agent must pass a pre‑employment drug screening and obtain acceptable background check results.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate clearance levels required for the contract.
- Must be able to obtain access to military installations.
