Registered Nurse (RN), Progressive Care – Nights

North Alabama Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is inviting a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). In this role you will provide advanced nursing care, support critical and medical‑surgical patients, and contribute to patient recovery while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately assess patients and identify their needs.
  • Initiate and perform appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Provide care that is tailored to the patient’s condition and age.
  • Document medical necessity and interventions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
  • Perform timely and accurate quality improvement assessments.
Schedule

3 × 12‑hour shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.

Qualifications
  • Current state RN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six months of hire.
  • Prior experience in progressive or critical care preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
