Job Summary:
The TES Research Associate will work with scientists and students under my supervision to assist with surface analysis of plasmid adsorption onto cellulose nanocrystals and to participate in research grant proposal preparation.

TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Essential Functions- Responsibilities will include general laboratory organization and maintenance
- Assisting with plant tissue culture and molecular biology workflows
- Contributing to CNC surface functionalization and characterization
- Preparing and handling wood-polymer composites for extrusion-based applications, and participating in data collection, analysis, and reporting activities
- These experiences will provide students with hands-on training in nanomaterial preparation, plant biotechnology, and interdisciplinary research techniques aligned with the goals of the project

Minimum QualificationsM.S. degree in sustainable biomaterials, surface science, or a closely related field
Desired QualificationsStrong scientific writing skills
