Position: (USA) Tire and Battery Service Advisor PT

Position Summary

What you'll do includes collaborating with team members to fulfil sales and service requests, educating associates on tools, tasks and resources, and mentoring new technicians, while communicating and developing interpersonal skills to provide safe and efficient customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Be a Team Member – Collaborates with team members, educates associates on tools, tasks and resources, mentors new technicians, and develops interpersonal skills for safe, efficient customer service.
  • Be an Expert – Demonstrates knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS tire pressure monitoring systems, product specifications and seasonality, and Point of Sale systems as well as phone and in‑person selling techniques.
  • Be a Techie – Leverages digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement, using handheld technology and systems to make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new product information, application, and training.
  • Be an Owner – Communicates equipment, tool and supplies needs to TBC Lead; tracks and monitors returns and special orders; operates cash registers and processes transactions; maintains inventory, audit, safety and compliance standards; reports complaints and safety hazards; completes paperwork, logs and documentation; ensures merchandise is packaged, labeled and stored per company policies; identifies member needs, assists with purchasing decisions, and resolves issues.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador – Acts as a brand advocate by valuing the member experience in the TBC area, modeling high‑quality service and products, influencing and inspiring others, working respectfully, supporting teamwork, and helping train teammates.
  • Complies with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity; implements related action plans and applies the Open Door Policy.
  • Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers and partners; identifies priorities, deadlines and expectations; communicates progress; recommends improvements; learns from change.

Compensation

Hourly wage: $19.00 to $27.00 (actual rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage). Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season or specific work performed.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
  • 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Auto service industry experience or retail experience.
