Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales and Marketing Representative to help expand our client base and promote our laboratory services. The ideal candidate will have experience in business development and marketing, with an understanding of environmental regulations and testing requirements. This position will be on-site in Auburn, Alabama, with travel requirement in Alabama, Georgia, and Florida.
Responsibilities- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the environmental, industrial, and municipal sectors.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.
- Promote laboratory testing services through targeted marketing campaigns, networking, and outreach.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and quotes to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with technical staff to ensure accurate understanding of client needs and service capabilities.
- Maintain records of sales activities and report on performance metrics.
- Assist in developing marketing materials and digital content to enhance brand visibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience in sales or marketing, preferably in an environmental or laboratory setting.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and testing programs (e.g., EPA, NPDES, drinking water, wastewater) preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
