Sales Representative, Inside Sales
THE ROLE
The Ticket Sales Representative is responsible for selling season, partial, and group ticket packages for the University of Wisconsin athletics programs. This role works under the guidance of the Senior Director of Sales.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Focus on outbound and inbound calls, appointment setting, executing sales presentations, and closing sales.
- Selling a full menu of ticket packages (full seasons, partial plans, and groups).
- Work non-traditional hours, weekends, events, and game days.
- Maintain activity levels (calls made/appointments set) and meet goals.
- Demonstrate an optimistic, team‑first attitude with a competitive drive to succeed.
- Work in a team-oriented environment and effectively influence and communicate with C‑level clients.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong work ethic and desire to build a career in professional sports.
- Practice safe work habits, follow safety policies, and complete required training.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- Previous sales experience preferred but not required.
