As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Deer Park, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with staff, drivers, and visitors while providing customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

This post requires a valid driver's license and an armed guard card or license.

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of warehouses, tank and yard areas, trailer lots, entrances, and perimeter fencing, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Monitor and control access at gates and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, checking vehicle credentials, managing visitor and delivery logs, and directing traffic flow as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and public emergency services when required.
• Maintain required armed post readiness by following firearms handling requirements, maintaining chain of custody for issued equipment, and completing detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and observations.

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
