We are seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repairs within our Walmart facility’s Refrigeration HVAC equipment team. The role requires commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, use of hand, digital, and power tools, and experience in a fast‑paced retail environment.

• Maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC equipment and assets.
• Use the work order management system to receive and document repair work orders for stores and associates.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart’s safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move on ladders, and work frequently at heights.

• 10 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large‑scale rack refrigeration experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.

• 8 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration and AAS in A/C and Refrigeration.
• Completion of a 2‑year technical/vocational HVAC/R program or 2‑year associate’s in applied science A/C and refrigeration.
• Excellent driving record.
• Prior work experience with glycol and CO₂ systems.

• Hourly rate based on experience, qualifications, and job factors.
