Summary:

Performs preventative maintenance, routine and non-routine repairs, and troubleshoots problems with machinery. Responsible for maintenance, repair, installation, and modification of all sawmill equipment to safely maximize, uptime, quality, and productivity. Safety-Sensitive Position:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Replace defective parts of machine or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts. Align machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, plumb bobs, and lasers. Repair and lubricate machines and equipment. Assemble and install equipment, using hand tools and power tools. Move equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks. Replace defective parts of machine or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts.
