RF Infrastructure Maintenance Technician
This is a temporary position
The RFID Lab at Auburn University is accepting applications for the position of Radio Frequency (RF) Infrastructure Maintenance Technician. This position will provide support to specific projects by acting as a knowledge base and providing practical and physical maintenance support. This includes but is not limited to traveling to different locations by driving or flying domestically to perform maintenance and installation work of RF equipment.
Responsibilities- Study all components and aspects of assigned project to become a knowledge base
- Run RF equipment and perform maintenance physically and digitally
- Travel domestically to support installations and/or check quality of deployments during and after installations
- Communicate with teams inside and outside organization
- Work nights and weekends when required
High school diploma or equivalent
- Engineering or hardware maintenance background
- Ability to work nights, weekends, fly domestically, and have own transportation
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Preferred experience with RF equipment
- Preferred experience in a retail environment
