Overview
The RFID Lab at Auburn University is hiring for the Automation team, which supports projects and conducts research through utilizing machine learning to run models, running experiments and Radio Frequency simulations, designing robotics, creating demonstrations of our tech, and developing software and hardware solutions.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using appropriate tools and technologies, such as machine learning, scripting languages, or custom software applications.
- Conduct research and rigorous testing on cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.
- Create detailed documentation of automation processes, including design specifications, user guides, and troubleshooting manuals.
Enrolled student at Auburn University
- Majoring in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Programming and scripting skills (e.g., Python, C, C++, Ubuntu/Unix).
- Experience with automation tools and platforms.
- Familiarity with process mapping and analysis.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
