About the Role

As a Ready‑Mix Driver, you will be the face of our company, ensuring safe and timely delivery of ready‑mix concrete to a variety of projects and customers. You will operate modern equipment in both industrial and residential settings, often working independently while knowing our team has your back.

Main Responsibilities
  • Safely operate ready mix trucks to deliver concrete to job sites and company locations.
  • Conduct daily pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections by DOT standards.
  • Load and unload equipment and materials as needed.
  • Maintain accurate mileage logs and delivery records.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
  • Perform minor truck maintenance and keep your vehicle clean and orderly.
  • Support your team and supervisors with additional duties as required.
  • Deliver quality service and represent our company with professionalism and courtesy.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years’ experience driving trucks of similar size and equipment preferred.
  • Valid CDL A or B license required; must maintain an active, clear record.
Work Requirements
  • Must be 18 + years old.
  • Pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
  • Hold a valid DOT medical card.
  • Commitment to safe work practices and PPE usage (company provided).
  • Willing to work up to 6 days a week with overtime as needed.
  • Flexible to work nights, weekends, and travel for assignments.
  • Team player with a positive attitude, strong communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to train and mentor others if experienced.
  • Meet company, state and federal driving standards.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Expertise in operating mixer trucks and related equipment.
  • Strong math, record‑keeping, and basic reading skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Experience in securing and transporting heavy or oversized loads.
  • Professional, courteous, and effective communication with customers and coworkers.
Physical &

Work Environment Requirements

Frequent tasks require climbing, balancing and physical agility. You will regularly sit, climb, and use hand signals or equipment; sometimes stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch or reach above shoulder height. You may lift and move objects weighing up to 25–50 lbs. The work is primarily outdoors, often in extreme weather and environmental conditions, with exposure to moving machinery, high places, airborne particles and loud environments.

Specific vision abilities are required, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception. Reasonable accommodations are provided as necessary to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
