Order Selector

The Order Selector is responsible for accurately selecting and pulling products from warehouse racks according to customer orders. This role requires operating a pallet jack, organizing and stacking cases efficiently onto pallets, and transporting completed orders to the dock for loading. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding position that operates in a production-based pay structure, rewarding efficiency and accuracy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate an electric pallet jack to navigate the warehouse and retrieve products.

Select products from racks according to order specifications and ensure order accuracy.

Stack cases securely and efficiently on pallets to prevent damage during transport.

Deliver completed orders to the designated dock area for truck loading.

Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency to meet production-based pay requirements.

Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures, including proper lifting techniques.

Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues or malfunctions.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned work areas.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience in a warehouse or order selection role preferred but not required.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow order specifications.

Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-production environment.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs consistently and occasionally up to 90 lbs.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for the entirety of the shift.

Frequent stooping, kneeling, and reaching overhead.

Ability to work in various warehouse conditions, including ambient, refrigerated, and freezer environments.
