The Placer County Community Development Resource Agency is accepting applications for the position of Principal Planner to fill one permanent/full-time vacancy in Auburn.
Job Responsibilities- Oversee key division or project area, directing and supervising activities.
- Perform professional planning duties, review plans and documents related to land use, environmental protection, economic development, and environmental compliance.
- Administer ordinances (local and state) and federal statutes.
- Manage grant projects and contracts.
- Assist the public in understanding and complying with adopted plans and regulations.
- Experience:
Five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in land use planning and development. - Training:
Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with coursework in urban, regional, or environmental planning, or a related field.
