Rock Creek Care Center – 📍 260 Racetrack St, Auburn, CA 95603
💰 $23‑$28/hour (DOE)
🩺 Includes 1‑2 shifts per week as a CNA
This role combines staffing coordination responsibilities with direct CNA care (1‑2 shifts per week). You'll help ensure appropriate nursing coverage while staying connected to resident care—bringing valuable clinical insight to scheduling and staffing decisions.
Key ResponsibilitiesStaffing Coordinator Duties
- Coordinate and maintain nursing schedules to ensure adequate staffing based on census and facility needs
- Track attendance, tardiness, call‑outs, and staffing coverage
- Communicate staffing concerns and recommendations to the Director of Nursing
- Assist with hiring coordination, interviews, onboarding schedules, and orientation support
- Maintain accurate employee records, certifications, and scheduling documentation
- Serve as a point of contact for staff regarding scheduling and coverage needs
- Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdepartmental teams to support efficient operations
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all facility policies and regulations
CNA Duties (1‑2 shifts weekly)
- Provide routine daily nursing care in accordance with resident care plans
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, mobility, hygiene, and comfort
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing leadership
- Accurately document care, vital signs, and observations
- Promote a warm, respectful, and supportive environment for residents and families
- Follow all safety, infection control, and confidentiality guidelines
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of CA
- CPR preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Team‑oriented mindset with a positive, solutions‑focused attitude
- Prior scheduling or staffing experience preferred but not required
