About the RoleHyland is looking for a hands-on and detail-driven Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Auburn, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, inspecting, and troubleshooting equipment while supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. From calibrating electronic circuits and inspecting product assemblies to managing domestic and international shipments, you'll play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.

- Assemble company products to engineering specifications; inspect products — including sheet metal, PCB assemblies, cable assemblies, and labeling — for compliance with order specifications and established quality standards
- Measure and calibrate analog and digital electronic circuits using various testing equipment; report deficiencies and errors to management and assist in maintaining comprehensive inspection records for accepted and non-conforming products
- Examine and prepare domestic and international product shipments; interface with shipping carriers to ensure shipments meet required specifications and correspond with shippers to resolve damages and shortages
- Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments by comparing identifying information, counts, weights, and measurements against bills of lading, invoices, and other records; prepare and affix shipping labels to packed cartons
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of shipping materials and supplies; assist in analyzing inspection and purchasing data to generate supplier performance reports using relevant software
- Assist in facilitating material review board (MRB) processes and the disposition of non-conforming materials; safely operate lift trucks, forklifts, hand trucks, and carts to transport shipments within the organization

- Associate's degree or higher, or equivalent experience; demonstrated experience working with electronic manufacturing equipment or tools and knowledge of quality control processes and inspection procedures
- Ability to read and understand prints, schematics, and technical specifications; strong ability to interpret technical specifications into the working environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications, web-based applications, and database software; ability to edit or write documents and spreadsheets with basic PC and networking troubleshooting skills
- Forklift certification or license (depending on location); ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills with excellent attention to detail; up to 5% travel time required
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate goals into practical, effective working solutions
- Good collaboration skills applied successfully within teams and across the organization at all levels
- Good ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, with the ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and products; familiarity with inventory management and database software platformssoldering skill is paramount,
- Self-motivated with keen attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven manufacturing environment
Based on individual states' employment laws, the following details are provided to comply with relevant salary posting requirements: base salary range of$25/hr – $35/hr
