• Read/write English; interact with customers and co‑workers.
• Read and understand simple instructions, product labels and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings.
• Apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift up to 25 lbs, frequently up to 45 lbs, occasionally up to 60 lbs.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

• Maintain a store section and stock merchandise using proper equipment (excluding power/heavy equipment).
• Ensure proper pricing, validate rotation through product date codes; stock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, displays and refrigerated/frozen cases.
• Prepare perishable products for sale.
• Set up advertising/promotional displays.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards throughout the store and parking lot.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, courteous customer assistance and product information.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties, such as recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies.
